Ok I just come back from Bintan.Went there with Jinq meei and pei sian on wednesday the day after my last paper. It was my first time travelling overseas alone without my family members and I kind of excited.


Wed 26 Jan @7.30am

Went to Tanerah Mera Taxi stand to wait for pei sian and jinq meei. They come in a taxi and I hop on to the Taxi. With pei sian's mum, we went to tanerah mera ferry terminal.

Went to check in and wait for the ferry.


9am to 10am
The worst part of the holiday, the ferry ride. At first we 3 seat together but soon Jinq meei sick sea went to vomit then she sit behind us.
Then towards bintan the sea very rough, i seasick and also vomit out. We later find out that it be better to sit at the window as the impact is least.


10am
at 10am we reached bintan and went to the hotel to check in. It was a long ride to the hotel. Anyway bintan is slower in time by an hour. So beginning the next sentence it will all be in bintan timing.


9am[bintan time]
Went to check into the hotel and got the very first stunn of the day. The lady in the counter asked us if we had a credit card. Since we didnt have, we need to deposit S$200. All of us got stunn by it as the agency did not ask us to bring S$200 to desposit and the fact that all our money only add up to $550. Deposit $200 will left us with $350 to spend for the first day.
Anyway in the end, the lady let us deposit S$100 instead and then we went to the business center to arrange for our boarding pass for the departure.


9.35am
Went to our room. its located at the west lobby and we have to walk from the main lobby to almost the end of the building to get to our room =.=" so far!
Went to check out the room, it was so spacous in there and we went to check on the mini bar. We got high when we saw beer in the mini bar but stunn when the price of a normal beer is $10 per can! And its in Sing Dollars!


9.50am
Went to walk around the hotel and went to the beach to take photos. The beach is more beautiful than Singapore's. The seawater is more clearer and in between there is streams of water flowing into the sea. After taking photos, we went to search for the leisure center and to find our gold-cart and also water sports.
Here's the stun we got:
1. Gold-cart is $30 per person in sing dollars and last 10 mins
2. due to monsoon, no water sports


12pm
went to have lunch bufflet and this is one bufflet that i dun enjoy. its $26 sing per person before taxes and service charges. And the meals? Fish, chicken, rice, dessert, prawns. I did something for the first time and that is that i went for dessert on the 2nd serving. Normally i take it on the 4 or 5th serving one. The dessert is nice. the chocolates are not so sweet.


1pm
Went to leisure center to play laser quest and the 3 of us were taking guns and shooting at each other. Was sweating like mad in there.


2pm
Went back to the hotel where we rest for a while before changing into our swimsuit to go to the pool at the leisure center


4pm
Went to the leisure center to play in the pool, did not brought my googles or specs along so i was asking pei sian and jinq meei to guide me. Went to play the slides, it like the water slides in wild wild wet.
But our swim was cut short cos when pei sian was swimming, a japanese woman told her to get out of the water as there was 2 SNAKES IN THE POOL!
We jumped out of the water. Despite my vision being blur, i can see a snake like figure in the pool. The thing came out of the water, it was not a snake but a four legged snake =.="
Went to inform the people about it and went to another pool to swim.


7pm
After our swim and bath, went to lobby to take a taxi to ole ole to have dinner

Next stun:
20 mins taxi ride fixed fare rate of S$20 -.-


7.30pm
went to ole ole and order chilli crab and stream boat.the food was nice and not expensive as the hotel's. the crab was $16 and the stream boat was $27.halfway through eating, pei sian and jinq meei went to book their spa session for the next day.


10pm
After eating, went to buy sour packs so that jinq meei would not vomit in the ship the next day and the person from the resturant send us back to the hotel.
one thing about the roads there, there were no lamp post and the road is basically pitch dark. The source of light is from the car.
Was feeling afraid when the driver was speeding on the road and not sloly down at bends.


11 to the next day.
Went to hotel and sleep.


7.15am
went to have breakfast, collect boarding pass and took pictures at the beach. The beach was really very nice, there were hermit carbs and smal carbs running around the whole place. Was having fun when pei sian rush to us, she say that she saw a four legged snake moving towards the beach. -.-" how come always meet the four legged snale one.
went out of the beach and to the place where she saw the snake but it was not there. so we move to another part of the beach when i saw the four legged snale -.-"
the security guard told us small problem.
we decided that we had enough and went to the hotel to rest.


10.30am
check out of the hotel and went to ole ole.


11.30am
went to ole ole where jinq meei and pei sian went for message while i went for the hand and leg mandicure.


3pm.
finally jinq meei and pei sian finish their spa and we went to shop around before taking a taxi for $10 to the terminal.


3.30 to 4pm
went to shop around the terminal. Bought a wind charm for ma.


4pm
board the ferry


4.30 to 5.30pm
My hardest time, i got sea sick soon after it reaches the rough waters. Apply a lot of medical oil and fell asleep, i try not to look down as it would be worst.


6.30pm[singapore time]

reach singapore at last and home sweet home
